Comedk 2011 counselling was also a disaster as it was in 2010 and in 2009 where around 8000 seats were left un-taken by any candidate.This went to show that Candidates and their Parents are willing to pay the Hefty Fees of 1.25 Lakhs per year but not to join some low ranked colleges, they want to join top ranked colleges.
After the top 10 colleges in Bangalore, no other colleges seem to have filled up their seats, some even in the Top Courses such as Electronics and Computer Science seats have not been filled up.
This goes to show that Students do not mind to pay if they get a great college.
