12000 more engineering seats in KCET and COMEDK Karnataka 2011

AICTE has announced that there will be 12000 more engineering seats in Karnataka for admission for students through KCET or Comedk 2011.This new developement of more seats being introduced came only in the last couple of weeks after a few more colleges applied for registration through KCET and COMEDK Entrance exams in Karnataka.

The AICTE has also said that the eligibility cut off will be reduced to 45% from 50% which was the previous cut off for a Engineering seat for PCM Aggregate in Second PUC, now it will be 45%.

Now the total number of Engineering seats in Karnataka has been increased to 73000, which was 65000 last year.This will mean more students will get admission into colleges of Engineerring in Karnataka.
